What is a good theme for a small group of people/?

Question

im in this group and i have to think of a theme so i can go out and find some costume or something to wear to match that theme. I am looking for a theme that is not too expensive and it's easy to get. some examples of themes I know are:

pirates

m & ms

skittles

care bears

i don't want something too immature though like barney and friends. can someone help me out because im a bit short on time now =(

My friends and I do theme nights all the time some pretty inexpensive ones are country and 80's themes.  We found silly straw cowboy hats for cheap at local grocery/convenience store.  The rest of our outfits we went to a thrift store for.  You can always find funny flannel shirts or tacky 80's dresses there and usually can leave with a bunch of stuff for a couple of bucks.  Have fun!!
