  1. What about a tropical/Hawaiian theme?  Since it will be nice and there will be people in the pool, you could have coconuts, tropical flowers (they have paper flowers at the party store) - you could surround a table with like a grass skirt, have fruit punch with pineapples in it... Everyone can wear flip flops, girls can wear flowers in their hair.... hawaiian shirts, flowery sun dresses, etc.  For food you could have a bunch of fruit and you could have one of your parents BBQ for you.......

I just thought of another option. There is a book out there called In Style Parties - go to the bookstore and just look for it and you don't need to buy it, but they have GREAT theme ideas AND ideas of food to have, decorations, and invites :) They have a pink theme party, holiday themes, snow themes, etc.. May be that would give you some creative juices :)

  2. club theme.

get black lights and glow sticks and music!

  3. Summer fun! HAve large campout. Guys and girls can enjoy that. Tell ghost stories, roast marshmellows, have bonfire and then go for midnight/moonlight swim.

  4. ok when the boy comes over just ask him to talk in a quiet corner ok and just talk ok it will be find trust me

  5. hawaii... have a luau..

  6. Wy not just have it at the beach and you could make it a pot luck and have music and decorations thats what I did  it totally awsome and because theire were guys there we played spin the bottle everyone was talking about it at school later on.

  7. A Hawaiian Luau would be cool.  Since you are planning on swimming, everyone could come casual to swim, there are fabrics very cheap that have Hawaiian flowers, etc, on them.  Borrow a few pink flamingos, get some of the necklaces they give in Hawaii, (rhymes with Lays, not sure how to spell it), and see if one of your relatives or dad has some fishing nets, which you can hang some lobsters cut out of construction papers, fake fish, clam shells, etc on them.  A watermelon with the top cut out, then deseeded and take the fruit back in, mix it with pineapple, mandarin oranges, and marishino cherries make a pretty centerpiece.  You can make some fake palm trees by taking big boxes, and cutting the palm leaves, tying them to big trees in the yard where they look like palms, only at eye level.  Things like pineapples, coconuts instead of flowers on the tables, and some fish earlier in the evening for appetizers (maybe shrimp?).  Smores are always fun at bondfires (graham crackers, marshmallows, and Hershey chocolate bars).

See if your parents or grandparents have some of the old fashioned Hawaiian music, and have a hula contest, and a limbo contest.

    Happy Birthday!
