! am a seventeen year old teenage boy who rarely spends any money. Whenever I get money, whether I work for for it, or my parents give the money to me as a birthday present, I never spend it and instead give it to my parents to invest for me. I do have a lot of money to spend, but I don't spend it anyways. My whole family is the same as me in regards to spending money.

I don't like sports although I do like strategy games like chess. I used to play video games all the time, but stopped buying any new games and eventually I got bored of my old games and stopped playing them. (By the way, the strategy works since solitaire is the only video game I've played in a long time.)

As of now I'm in twelfth grade in high school. I am happy that I don't waste any money, but does anyone know anything I could spend my money on?

  1. Senior Ditch Day..go to an amusement park. Thats what I'm going to do for Senior Ditch Day                                                                                 ........................................... year

  2. well my son is 14 years old and he made more than $500 in les than a month. all he did was doing surveys online to earn points

1 point= $1.00, its really fast and easy. the good thing is that is saves you a whole lot of money instead of spending it for games, clothes, etc. you should try it out

  3. A car. It's really nice to have a car.

  4. You said that you once enjoyed video games, but don't play them anymore. Well in my opinion you could buy some games from the xbox 360 live arcade and play those. There are lots of strategy games including chess and puzzle quest. It's not as expensive as a car either. Or if you don't feel like playing video games you can always find yourself some sort of hobby such as paintball, archery, airsoft, knife throwing, skate board, mountain biking, scuba diving, and other such things. And if you don't want to do any of that you can always spend it on clothes. Preppy is in style right now so I would suggest American Eagles or Hollister. Or if thats not your style go to Urban outfitters for something a little bit more, well, urban.

    Hope that helps.

  5. a phone, mp3 player, clothes. a car, or go on a date

  6. Maybe I'm biased b/c I have a new baby boy but I would say to buy a gift for your mom! :)

Seriously though, you can spend your money on an unlimited number of things. Maybe if you spend your money on something that will acquire value you won't feel like you're spending it but you can still get the feeling of "buying" something instead of simply investing it. Maybe coins or stamps or something like that (start a collection).

  7. i am very much like you when it comes to saving money... however when i do decide to spend it i spend it on something that is very much worth while.  My junior year i bought my very own truck which i owe nothing on it since i saved up enough.  Then my senior year i wanted to travel so i used the money i saved up to go to Madrid, Barcelona, and Paris.  The trip may seem like a waist to some but it was completely worth experiencing a different culture.  So if you are going to spend your money on something make it completely worth it.
