  1. Use poster-mounts.  Most office supply stores will have them, I've even found them in some department stores (like Kmart).  They are basically a thick double-sided tape so the poster will stick to a textured wall, but the tape is designed to pull off the wall without taking paint with it.  They are cheap, don't damage the walls, and don't show once the poster is up.

  2. Use a regular poster frame on them, then you only have to use one nail to hang them.

  3. ughh i feel for you. i had the same problem. i used pins and tape and like you said, it looked really tacky and ugly. so i started using that blue thumb tack and it made weird greasy spots on the good side of the poster. so i dont recommend that.

the best thing to use are poster frames. they look clean, neat, and classy in your room and makes you want to look at the posters. all you need is one nail to hang one. frames are also good because you can pick what color frame you want so it can match your room.

hope this gives you an idea. good luck!

  4. Generations of college students and apartment dwellers use a product that looks a little bit like chewing gum (only white, or yellow, or blue) called Poster Tack, which can be bought at any Walmart or office supply store, or any store in a college town...Hold out for white, if you have white walls,... you'll be glad you did.

You could also use poster glue dots.

3M Scotch also makes a removeable tape that is recommended but I haven't tried it yet.

  5. It's called ticky tacky and it is like gum only it usually comes off without hurting the wall or the poster.  Wally World should have it.

  6. 3M Poster tape. It is a double sided tape just for this purpose. You put the pieces on the back side of the poster and stick it to the wall. Holds very securely but won't pull the paint off when you take the poster down. You can buy this at any office supply store, drug store and some groceries stores. I've used it on very light weight paper and the paper didn't tear when I took the tape off.
