What is a good time and day to take driver test with not much traffic around -closed saturday sunday-?

Best time would be between 10 and 3. After most people get to work but before the evening rush home. No school buses around that time either.

Everybody will be at work, and it will be too early for people to be eating lunch.

Monday is always a bad day for any government agency.  Also on Mondays you have "Monday fever" meaning the person giving the test might have a hangover.   No one really likes Mondays and it puts the tester in a bad mood.

Friday is another bad day as all that is on the mind of the tester is to get the last one done and get gone for the weekend.  They are thinking about what they will be doing on the weekend.   They do not want to deal with problems that might delay their getting off work on time.  

People usually feel better after lunch.  They got a full stomach and are more mellow because they are not hungry or thirsty.    Everyone else is back at work so there is less traffic on the road.  

Other tips.  

Have a clean car.   Examiners hate getting into a car that is dirty and smells.   Specially the women.  

Have a small  car.  They do not care if you got a hot rod or sports car or four by four.   All they are going to watch is you drive and a small car makes it all easier.   Ever try to park a over sized pickup in a regular parking space?  

Make sure everything works.  If your blinker does not work, they do not even have to give you the test.   If they are running behind on tests,  they will take advantage of any excuse to catch up.

Do not try to show them how confident you are by speeding.   They would rather you drive slow and careful because THEY are in the car also!

Lastly,  if you fail,   be nice and polite and thank them for their time and comments.   Be nice because you may get the same examiner the next time and you do not want to have them mad at your for the first time!
