What is a good time to list your item in eBay?

I want to list my item at $0.99. What is a good time to list your item in eBay other than after dinner time? Thanks a lot.

Providing that you list for a minimum of 5 days there is no real advantage in posting at any particular time.

Keep in mind the three hour difference accross the United States so that in CA at 6:00 pm it is 9:00 pm in NY.  With that in mind, the next thing to consider is weekends seem to provide more leisure time for many people, so listing your item with an ending day that falls on a weekend has the potential to be viewed by more people and have a greater chance of selling.

if you are listing for a 7 day item the weekends are good. This way you people will be home and be able to access their computers and bid against each other. other wise the time will often expire and people will forget or get distracted by work or other things.
