What is a good time to run an 800 metre race?

Im a freshmen and i run it in 2:16 as my fastest time. my other freshmen friends run it in 2:28 or more. My senior friends...well i beat some of them but the fastest is a 2:03.

Maybe if your high school level around 2:15-2:30 I believe

An above avg time would be 2:10 or better. In Illinois the state qualifying time is about 1:57 ~ 1:58.The best in the state will run 1:51 ~ 1:52.

a good time to run a 800 meter race.....or 2 laps around a high school track.....would be about 2:00-2:15!
