btw, i am in highschool and i'm on the girls cross country team.

what's a good 5k time?

17:00 in NY can probably get you top 5 in girls state meet.

So anywhere under 23 minutes is really good.

For the ave. Joe? Under 30 min.

For school runners? Under 22 min.

For state competetions? Under 18 min.

25 minutes and below.

the best girl runner on our team can run under 21 minutes and she makes semi-state so probably 20 minutes to 22 is pretty good
