What is a good tool for writing php?

i need a good free tool for writing php scripts. Anyone know any good ones+Links?

I use notepad++ for every language.  It has source code coloring which makes it easy to identify variables, functions or even keywords.  It also has more advanced features that make more complex tasks a lot simpler once you know how to use them.
