you can ask them what kind of music they like...

pop? rock? sentimental? jazz? there's so many to choose...

why do they choose these kind of music? recommendations from one another.

movies goes the same.. they can make their own review

share ideas on how to make it better.. or to make a whole new story with their brainstorming ideas :D

They probably like celebrity and fashion. Ask who their role models are and why. Discuss what sort of clothes they like to wear. Any light discussion can go onto something more serious like how they perceive themselves in relation to the images in the magazine, their ambitions for the future etc.
