I'm currently buying something on ebay with a day to go and I wanna make sure I win this. It is currently up to 280 bucks and I've been the leader the whole way. My current max bid is set at 310 dollars. Do I wait until the last minute to increase my bid or do it now?

  1. I usually stay silent till the last 30 seconds or so then put my bid in. That way people think there's not that many bidders interested and they relax. I always win! Good luck!

  2. Since you're leading, wait until the last 20sec to increase IF someone bit higher than you. Also make sure your increase is at least $10 more than the highest bidder (just in case that person has a max bid). Good Luck!

  3. www.esnipe.com

  4. In the last thirty seconds is where the war happens. I would say put your max bid to your max if you want the item. Then if you get outbid, try for another on another day. Bid the minimum and bid again with the max of what you are willing to pay. Then if you win you win. If you lose you lose. good luck man.

  5. Make it higher so u can secure the product

  6. i never bid at the start. that just makes people bid more to be the to bidder. I always bid at the last second and put in a reasonable bid

  7. In short, ALWAYS know before the auction ends the MAX that you are willing to spend.  (many times people get caught up in the excitement and bid more than the item is worth...trust me I've seen it happen many times.) Once you nail that down, I normally wait (if you have a high speed internet connection) until the last 5-10 seconds.  (Make sure that you've signed into your eBay account and already have the bid place, so all you have to do is to click the button to submit your bid.)

    Good luck!

  8. Wait until the last thirty seconds. If you submit your maximum bid now it will show two consecutive bids that were placed by you. This will indicate to anyone else bidding that they will probably have to submit a higher bid than they originally would have submitted in order to win. Wait until the end and surprise them.

  9. Make your max bid what you are willing to pay AT THE VERY MOST. If you're ok with even a dolloar more than what you bid, then, raise it up a dollar. Thats why they call it a max bid. eBay will automatically bid for you UP TO that amount.

Just be sure you can pay your bid.

I hate it when people bid on my stuff then email me and tell me they cannot pay for this reason or that reason.
