I'm looking for a really good flashlight under $30.00. I dont care about the different color lights or anything but if it has it thats fine. Also, what should I look for when buying a flashlight (watts, l.e.d.s, beam radius, etc). I dont like maglites, because I have had bad expieriences with them!

Thanks in advance!

  1. All i could tell you would be a Maglite. They have served me well for years. But if not i dont know hat else. I would stay out of the lights that are a like the 2 million candle power. That dont seem to last.

  2. I bought a flashlight from Walgreen's.  It does not need battery's.  You wind it up, and it works great.  They are only $15.00 regular price.  Some times you can find a sale.  I have three of them.  One for the house, one for the basement, and one for the garage.  They last forever.  You should really try it.Good luck.  CK

  3. Agree--mag light.

  4. I have had many flashlights over the years, I work on office equipment, my latest and greatest a Brinkman 1 watt led light at Walmart. It takes 3 AAA batteries, so it's small but it last a long time. I mean I have it on 1 1/2 hours a day and batteries last more than a month. It cost about $20.00 and comes with batteries, and no bulb to break. I have had Maglight flashlights, they work well, but when the batteries leakd it's finished.

  5. bad experience with a Mag?  I've thrown them down the street and they keep working....

    I'm a Mag guy.
