What is a good venue to have a small wedding in Brisbane?

I am from Sydney, but due to a relative unable to travel I am having the wedding in Brisbane. We don't have a lot of money and the wedding won't be that big, but I want it to be beautiful.

Hi - a bit more info would be great. Are you looking for somewhere where you can have both the ceremony and reception?

What kind of a budget are you wanting (because one persons version of cheap might be expensive to another).

Recently caught up with friends who had a small wedding. They had theirs at the Waterloo Hotel (it's on the Bayside). I saw their pics and it had a nice courtyard. They had a brunch wedding and all up only cost $2K
