Question:

What is a good wah pedal for me?

I've been playing guitar for about 1 year (started from acoustic then on electric for about 6 months). I'd say I'm getting pretty comfortable with my electric. Now I'm into effects but I'm not sure which wah pedal I should get. I don't want something that's too pricey. Any suggestions? What about the Boss AW-3 Dynamic Wah Guitar Effects Pedal?

  1. Since you haven't been playing for years or anything, a crybaby is too expensive and not much better than other cheaper pedals. The first pedal I bought was a VOX V847. It's really the best buy unless your a master at the guitar for a minimal cost($100).

  2. You can get a behfringer for cheaper

  3. don't go for one of the ones that's just a stomp box. they won't give you a variance like the real ones. You need to look at something like a crybaby or a vox 847 if you have some friends who have been playing guitar for quite a while then ask them about it; Many people have a wah pedal that they don't use much. they get boring after a little while so borrow it for a little while and you can give it back when you get bored

  4. crybaby wah.

  5. I would advice from my own preference Vox Wah-Wah V847 as it is the type Hendrix used and has that old 60s 70s sound that you just cant resist! The cheapest you can get it at is about £50

Ive just read other suggestions, if u want to play metal get a Cry Baby but DONT get a behringer they may be cheap but they aint worth the bother to be honest.
