What is a good way of saying thank you to your parents?

I am getting married on February 30th and both my fiancé . I would like to dedicate a speech to them at the reception and make a toast to the parents to thank them for all that they've done (not just the wedding, but raising you as well!).

You have time to figure it out and make it personal. Say exactly what is on your heart. You've pretty much written the idea down. Embellish and you have your speech.

EDIT: A good way to get started is to make a bullet point list of ideas you would like to include. Once you have that list, the speech is easier to write.

I would write your speech from the heart. I know its hard to find the words but you have until feb to perfect it. I think once you start putting it on paper, everything you want to say will flow beautifully. If you wanted to do something extra special, I would look through some old family photos. Find all your happy snaps together and turn them into a dvd slide show with some music to play after your speech. Then you could toast them after the slide show. It would only have to be about 1or 2 minutes long. Hope this helps and congrats! xx
