Put spoons in the freezer. Put them over your eyes, closed, after they're cold. It's hard to keep them on because they're so cold. But it works. Wash your face with cool water too, not cold though, that'll just shock you.

The spoons idea will help, I was going to suggest that. Of you can take a warm washcloth, not hot, and compress it on your eyes to bring the puffiness down. And if you really wanted you can put some eye drops in to get rid of the redness.
