What is a good way to do eye makeup (for asian eyes)?

I am half asian and I have trouble following guides on eye makeup. Any tips?

Black eye liner to make your eyes look bigger. Brush your eyeshadow right up to underneath your brow to give it the illusion that your eyes are bigger.

Everyone has different shaped eyes, regardless of whether or not you're  Asian. that being said, these girls might not have the same eye shapes as you even though they're all Asian haha.. but I love their tutorials on YouTube...
