What is a good way to find people who want guitar or general music lessons in Chicago?

I am a musical prodigy. I need students. How do I find people who are serious about MUSIC?

  1. You should post flyers at local guitar shops or at the music departments of area universities (Northwestern, U of Chicago, Depaul, UIC, Northeastern, Columbia College, etc).  Or try to hook up with the Old Town School of Music. They're a large, popular music school with 2 locations on Chicago's North Side.

  2. The above idea is very good.

    Also place a free ad in the Chicago Reader newspaper.

    They're always a good spot to get responses.

    Here's their "music" section.

    Then go to their "home" page if you want to place a classified ad.
