What is a good way to gain weight?

I don't want to get fat because im thin and want to stay thin i work out but i dont gain muscle

can you help plz thank you! =]

the reason i want to gain weight is because im 6'2 and weight 145 to 150 pounds

  2. Ok i had the same problem,

    Firstly, you need to establish a fitness regiem which you can keep to. as the following will make you gain weight. and regular excercise will help turn these extra calories into muscle not fat.

    You must start eating plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables to support your heart when gaining "healthy" muscle weight.

    next you need to introduce plenty of fish and meat into your diet. Fish is full of protein which help build muscle fibres. Meat also is packed full of protein, eat plenty of chicken and red meat such as steak. However you should not be eating to much red meat as this can increase your chances of contracting bowel cancer. therefore stick to the chicken and fish.

    Another tip which all bpdy builders will know of is baked beans!!! baked beans are full of protein and to be honest they are the best source of protein.

    After your work out, you should be drinking a pint of York Weight Gain, which you can buy from your local health store, or Argos (where i got mine from) It tastes lovely, and you will see changes within 2 weeks. but please remember to drink it after the workout not before, otherwise you'll throw up all over the gym.

    Many people believe that to gain muscle you need to take creatine supplements and this is wrong, the muscles strive on creatine and naturally burn it up, creatine is what makes our muscle work and thats how we "feel the burn". however you should not take creatine until you are the size of a body builder as it can have many harmful effects on the body and brain.

    also i would advise you to be eating plenty of frsh fruit and veg and introduce foods rich in fibre as the extra protein will make you bowel movements more infrequent and slower. the fibre will help balance it out.

  3. Go to a nutrition store and explain your problem.  The staff people there can set you up with a high calorie, high protein powder to mix in with milk and drink like a shake.  It will help you bulk up.
