I'm going to have a beach party/bonfire for some of my teenage friends. What would be some good ways to incorporate charity into the party without asking people to just flat-out bring money? For example, things we could pass out to people or as a part of a scavenger hunt? Even things that we could do (like picking up trash or planting a tree)?

Thank you :D

  1. The things you mentioned are good ones.  You could also have a contest to see who could get the most donations say of canned goods or money for a specific helping agency to bring to the party.   Or have some sort of a- thon maybe a beach vollyball athon or a beach ball toss a-thon or beach run relay where people get pledges for each lap they run or each 15 min or 1/2 hr they play.  Since it is at the beach maybe money could go to an envoronmentalchariy that focus on shore or marine life.  A sand castle contest of some sort dedicated to people who don't have a home mightb be reall;y nice too.  .
