What is a good way to make more money?

Legally and morally!

I have two jobs, am a single parent and a full-time grandparent , so a third job is out.

But I still need more of a income. I thought about starting a recycling gig. By going around to different events and collecting cans and bottles. I wonder do I have to get permission from the event?

A glorified trash digger!!!!!!!!! wow!

Any suggestions or thoughts of other gigs?

You may onto something there.  Also, check you local area for "free" stuff that people are giving away.  Go pick up the free stuff and turn around and post a "free" ad and sell it.  I've made a lot of extra cash doing this.  Example here:
