  1. i think those long words are compound words.

    so you better memorize like english compound words.

    backpack = back + pack


  2. flash cards :)

    or make up little rhymes/random jingles for long words. like for "untenshimasu" (to drive), i thought of you have to pay ATTENTION (untenshi kinda sounds like attention lol) when you drive. just little weird things like that. ganbatte :)
