What is a good way to put on mascara?

i don't want it to look like im wearing a whole bunch but to make it look nice and yeah

It usually depends on the mascara you buy.

Don't buy the big fat mascara thingies but instead but the thin ones, they work better.

just put it on from your roots to tip of eyelashes.

what helps is if you comb them before you put the mascara on so they're neat and don't clump.

Also don't put on a second coat of you don't want people to think you have a lot on.

A real great look is if you put a very thin line of brown eyeliner (if you have brown or blonde hair) and one coat of brown mascara.

If you have black hair then put a very thin line if black eyeliner on and one coat of black macara on.

I suggest Almay eyeliner and Neutrogina mascara. Neutrogina has a great mascara for more natural looks; very pretty.

okay i wipe the brush off in the tubiethngE it comes in and i also take a paper towel and wipe off some of the xtra stuff, then apply very softly only on the tips on my eye lashes, and then let it dry just a little and then i wet the tips of my fingers and wipe off any xtra stuff that got on my eye lashes i know it sound hard but it's not, and it looks really good almost natural!!!!!!! good luck mascara's a pain

Open your eyes, but try not to  open them too much, or the mascara will get on the top lid. When you apply the mascara, try and press the brush hard, but not so hard that your lashes bend. And as you sweep up, wiggle the brush back and forth, this will help eliminate lumps.
