What is a good way to put on the car it is for sale? like nail or shoe polish, or what not sure what to use?

i got a black for sale sign but it has been warped due to the sun what can i put on my car that can be washed off but noticable please help?

White shoe polish works but can be difficult to get off of black trim and other surfaces.  They make specific "markers" made to write on windows and wash off without causing damage.  This is what you see on car lots and store windows.

Deffinately do not use nail polish.  

However, writing "for sale" on the windows has never brought me anything other than window shoppers.  Everything I have ever sold has been through some sort of advertising on paper or internet.

White shoe polish works fine for writing on windows but you can also buy paint at a crafts store that is designed for writing on windows.

It should be scraped off with a fresh (sharp) razor blade.

Stay away from the dark colors. They don't show up very well. Neon Yellow & Neon  Orange show up the best.

If you put nail or shoe polish on it I doubt you'll find a buyer, but you can use a bar of soap to write it on the window and it will wash off without using any chemicals to remove it.

A plastic for sale sigin from any hard ware store or

winshield chaulk from wall mart or a good auto parts store will work.

they have stuff at walmart for a few dollars that's made just for that... it's called window chalk or something like that, it's with the auto care stuff :)

(it's liquid in a tube with a sponge tip, it comes in a bunch of colors)
