What is a good way to style my hair?

Question

I have thin curly/wavy reddish gold brown hair (it got sun bleached). I recently got my hair cut and it's shoulder length with razored layers (for volume, since I have none) and sideswept bangs. It's really hard to do anything to my hair. I can straighten it really easily but it ends up curling out at the ends and I don't like it much because it doesn't look good with my glasses. I need some really cute styles I can do because my hair down doesn't frame my face. And when I put my hair in a pony tail I look like Ellen Page in Juno... ._<

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Well I just got my hair cut short recently , and I was reading a magazine and it said a good style to try was the sleek look that Katie Holmes , and she parted her hair on the side and pinned both sides back . I would suggest cute little pins to make it cute .
