What is a good website for MTG (magic the gathering) deck submission and searching?

Some seem to have only partial databases. Some seem to have been "offline" for a long time. Some seem to have only PRO decks.

I want to find a site that can do it all!!! Chat, vote, submit, search, scoll over to see card descriptions, etc. etc.

CAN ANYONE HELP ME ???

  1. deckcheck.net

  2. I think I would go to tcgplayer.com and go to there forums. There is alot of probably good decks there, And you could post your own deck and try and get it edited or helped by other people on the forums.

  3. TGCplayer

    Starcitygames

    and try this link:

  4. http://www.deckcheck.net/ is a good site. You cannot chat or vote. You can use their site to make your own decks to get statistics on it. They also seem to have the best database for top 8 or top 16 decks for most every tournament.

You can view a top deck list for a tournament and see what deck, piloted by whom, placed where. If you click on a specific deck, you can mouse over each card to see a picture of it. You can get a sample hand (along with the next 7 cards you would draw into). You can see mana curves sorted in various ways. There are quite a few more options I am not even listing. Check it out.

  5. I strongly suggest www.Magicthegathering.com, they usually have up to date lists of each card, set, block, creature, class, equipment, and other spells.  Not to mention Forums, message boards, voting, and online players from all over the world.  I check this site when I have an idea of what type of deck I want to create or add the finishing touches of one I have been working on for a while.

  6. What you seek is not here.

I don’t actually think that there is a site that allows you to do all the things you mentioned, other than magic.tcgplayer.com, which is by far your best option.

You can submit the decks here, and you can chat all you like, though I can’t gaurentee that anyone will look at your posted decks, though.

The other place you can look is on MTGvault, though I would not recommend this site because its deck builder is very slow and annoying, and they update their database very slowly. The new eventide cards aren’t even up yet.

    Have fun!

  7. Wizards of the Coast is the best for Official News

Magic Traders is the best to trade cards

Star City Games is the best to purchase cards from and to get daily news and analysis concerning competitive play

MTG The Source is extremely good if you are interested in Legacy and has many of the best legacy players.

Deck Check has the top 8 decks from every tournament listed in full for you to research and get ideas from.

Magic the Gathering Online is a virtual version of magic identical to the paper game which costs money and only has Invasion and up.

Magic League is the best free alternative to Magic The Gathering Online for Apprentice and Magic Workstation play.
