Like one that gives you fake money to spend on real stocks and allows you to easily keep track of it all. Also I would like it to be free. I am 16 and I am interested in the stock market and how it works and any links to good sites would be greatly appreciated.

  1. You are asking the wrong question.  It is called paper trading.

I haven't done it myself but I heard you could use yahoo finance for starters or google other providers.  There are also competitions in some business school that provides this platform.

  2. there are various stock picking contests, like the one on msn.com that allow you to build portfolios and track them over time.

also bloomberg lets you build hypothetical portfolios, but most people don't have access to a bloomberg terminal.

  3. For great paper trading experiance.....

    http://www.thinkorswim.com/

  4. Options Xpress allows you to create an account and do virtual trading. Here's the link - hope it helps:

For future consideration: You may want to get more adept at using a search engine if you are truly interested in the 'stock market'. Because you can't go on posting questions here. And yes, you are going to have a lot more difficult questions!

  5. Investopedia.com

  6. updown.com
