What is a good website to apply for a government grant, for school?

  1. A great resource to use is grants.gov (its reliable because it is a .gov site). The school you are attending won't help you find many grants since they profit off of loans. It's good that you are not depending on your school to help you!!! I will include any other resources I can think of.

    Also, the deadlines might have passed for this upcoming year, but the costs never end so I would continue to apply each year.  


  2. Fastweb.com is the first one that comes to mind. Also, make sure to fill out the FAFSA, sometimes you can get income based grants from the federal and state governments through that. Check with the school you are considering as well. Sometimes they have alumni grant programs for students fitting certain criteria.

    Note: On the FAFSA, you should NOT have to pay to fill it out.

    This all assumes you are not going to graduate school. There are no federal grants for graduate school.
