What is a good website to read or download books online?

i want a website where i can read free books, the only thing i can find has very old and mark twain or Shakespeare books, i need something with books for teens, newer releases, can anyone help me?

The reason why you can only find older books is because those are the ones that are no longer under copyright. Books that are under copyright can not be viewed for free. You can check out Google Books. Here is a link: http://books.google.com/ Just search for any book title you are interested in and if it is no longer under copyright then you should be able to read the text.

You can download books from here: http://www.ebooks.com/ But you have to pay.
