What is a good weekly workout for someone who runs 800m and the mile?

i am mostly just looking for workouts rather than pace, but if it matters i run 2:30 in the 800m and 5:41 in the mile.

  1. run 400m in a target time of 1:30

    rest two mins

    run it again

    then after two times around,go for 1:25

    another two cycles

    then go to 1:20

    and you kinda get the point

    also it depends if your in high school or in Jr high

    if your in high school

    you might wanna shorten the times

    or if your in jr high

    like me

    do those times


  2. ok did you not read my answer to your 5 minute mile question...try this if you have a race on friday run 6 300m at race pace with a 200m recovery jog between each 300 on monday...on tuesday do a 40 minute jog(should not be putting around but at a comfortable pace as going to slow doesn't benefit you anymore than sitting on a couch. on wednesday do 2 400's then 2 sets of a600m,400m,200m also at race pace or a little fasterwith a 400m recovery jog between each 400 600 and 200. thursday another 40 min recovery jog good luck
