Im 17 years old and work out 5 times a week. I run, workout, swim, all that stuff. I stopped playing football cuz i got bored with it, and i am really trying to follow my dream of boxing. Im 5'11 160 and am willing to do whatever. I am trying to find a Boxing trainer in my area too to help me out. But If anyone could please help i'd greatly appreciate it. Im talking anything, like minor things to do, or like some eating habits i should pick up. Anything is appreciated

  1. Hey man, ya boxing is a great workout.  And ya u need a lot of endurance, so i would def keep running.  As far as workouts go, iv'e been boxing for a while, and all my workouts are up on my website

Also, r u still in high school? i started boxing in college because my school had a boxing club.  I would suggest doing that because its free.  I had a coach too, so it was like having a personal trainer for free.

If u have ne more questions, just post on my forum:

I just started the forum thats y there are hardly any posts, but im sure it will grow so spread the word when u start meeting boxers.

  2. That boxing video game with the motion sensors. I'm always sore and winded after that.

  3. The main thing with boxing (in my opinion) is that you need endurance, lots of it. If you don't have a punching bag then shadow box, you can even use resistant bands while you shadow box. Speed bag is also good. Best of luck!
