I'm using a GE 5.8 and have a wireless router on computer running through vonage router. I'm having problems with phones cracking and cutting out. I heard that using a DECT 6 might help. Have you ever heard uf this problem?

  1. I use Panasonic 5.8 GHz cordless phones with my Linksys ATA VoIP adapter.  I also use a Linksys Wireless-G router and have not experienced any unusual RFI interference or quality problems with this equipment configuration.

If you are using Wireless-N, there "may" be some potential for RFI with 5.8 GHz phones.

In the end, DECT 6.0, 1.6 GHz phones seem like the best option for RFI avoidance because the DECT 6 frequency band is not shared with any other RF services, like the 2.4 and 5.8 GHz bands...
