Are you asking for recommendations for gourmet restaurants in Boston? well, my recommendations are any restaurant in the North End and Back Bay. My favorite restaurant, which I highly recommend is Turner's fisheries in Copley Mall

Gourmet is an industry classification for high-quality premium foods in the United States.  Therefore a gourmet restaurant would be one that serves this quality of food.  In my opinion the term is highly over used.

From my experience it's an overpriced and go away hungry type of restaurant.
