What is a great central hotel to stay at in Buenos Aires, Argentina?

I want an affordable, but 4 star hotel in a central area

Faena Hotel and Universe. about $70 dollars (US) a night for a place anywhere else in the world that would be $700. amazing! its in puerto madero which is walking distance from calle florida (downtown)

I would recommend the Costa Rica hotel, located in the Palermo section of Buenos Aires. It's only $55 and a train ride or cheap taxi away from all of the attractions. The Palermo area is also very beautiful, safe and is known as the SoHO of Buenos Aires with wonderful shops and restaurants. I stayed there in August and loved it.

You can go to Sheraton. It is 5 star, but it will be pretty affordable.
