  1. u tcan babysit someones kids so that they can have thenight off.

    Shovel snow off their sidewalk

    pray for them, then send an anonymous note saying someone prayed for them

  3. Open the Door for someone and let them pass through.(especially Moms with children strollers, people loaded down with packages or the Seniors, or Handicapped.)

    Let the person with a few items ahead when waiting in line

    Clear the sidewalk or car, for a Senior, when snow is accumulating.

    Say God bless you.

  9. You know one of the greatest acts of kindness that takes only a couple of seconds and has a wonderfull effect is a smile.

    If you smile at someone, you are saying that that person is accepted, appreciated and loved. If you can add a quick "hi". that would even be more of a huge bonus. Your smile will last in that persons heart for hours and make them forget for a good while about their problems or issues and maybe give them the incentive to pull themselves out of their problems, if they have any.

    ....caution, be carefull sometimes when doing w/ opposite s*x, sometimes you can give the impression that you may want a relationship, you have to use a little descretion and wisdom when chosing your smiles and hi's.

    .....another quick thought, giving someone a quick, quiet to yourself prayer for 15 seconds have unknown positive effects on that person and brings blessing and peace to your own heart.

A lot of time the smallest things have the biggest effects.  Like running to open the door for someone whose arms are full.  Or letting someone with one or two items go ahead of you in the line at the grocery checkout.  In fact just giving someone a big smile and saying 'Hello' or 'Good morning!' doesn't cost anything.  And it can really make someone's day!

One thing I have heard of is taking the time to write a letter to someone who is very special to you letting them know how much they have meant to you.  It gives you the opportunity to give something back to a person who is special in your life.  Who knows, it might even inspire them to do something nice for someone else.  Nice question!
