What is a great spontaneous/random date idea in Melbourne, Victoria?

Question

I've been seeing this person for about 1 week now and want to make it very special. I want to do something really random, that people don't normally do on dates. Something to show that I really care.

I live in Fitzroy, he lives in Prahran, neither of us have a car so it needs to be somewhere we can public transport to. Preferably either of those suburbs, the city or St Kilda.

Any great ideas?

I have about 2 hours to come up with it.
