  1. ok well what are the childrens interests? think about that for sure! pick something they are both interested in (if possible)

try and make the cake, that saves money for sure!!!

how about create some sort of outdoor obstacle course for all the children to participate in, where there can be teams mixed of boys and girls

have a pinata, its always fun for kids to get to take a bat and swing at things!!! (be advised...be careful!!)

what about a scavenger hunt? depending on the number of children divide them in teams, give a scavenger hunt through the house or neighbourhood. each team gets a prize (of course!)

    hope these ideas helped!

  2. Pool party, Roller skating rink, or Ice skating rink are all great places.  You don't have to worry about organizing activities for that age.  Just let them have fun and hang out.

  3. guitar hero competition, top 3 get a prize. itune giftcard, gift certificate to the movies, etc.

  4. she could always do a very cool  Greek party modest togas of course game could include something to do with the Greek mythology like Medusa digging in a bowl of cooked spaghetti and searching for the piece with the prize on it Hercules would be the game where the boys test their strength

  5. you could do a 50's party or a swim party. Or it would be fun to do it at an ice skating rink

  6. What about a disco party, with mirror ball, lights, karaoke machine etc. (you can buy them at cheap shops or hire them) ask the guests to dress in something fluro. or their favourite singer/musician.  Activities could be a trivia competition in teams, dance off/competition, karaoke competition, some sort of eating competition is popular with the boys.  Get them to eat some crackers and see who can still whistle or pick up maltesers with a straw.  Have finger food instead of an actual meal both hot and cold.  Keep costs low by making your own invitations on the computer.  Get someone to take photos and print them out before the guests leave and include one in each gift bag.

  7. ask your sister see what she says....... if she plans on having a party outfit base the theme on her outfit then she will deffinatly feel like the party was all about her

  8. I guess for that sort of money the best is to contract the party to a place like Mc Donald or Skating Ring or let her suggest and I guess that will be the best......

  9. i always thought it would be really cool to have a hollywood/movie nigth themed party on orientaltrading.com you can buy a cheap red carpet and signs and stuff like that and you can watc ha movie and play dress up and do make overs and give awards for like most likely to be an actor and best hair or stuff like that. idk be creative! [they sell little movie buffs on that site too]

  10. Do a 70's party, there is always tons of stuff to decorate with, it's colorful and parents of 11 year old should  be somewhat fimialiar with the fashion and music.

  11. At that age, she should have it outside the house.  11 might be getting a little old to have a party at home with traditional games and goody bags.  That age can be hard to entertain!  Some places she might like include..

    indoor water park or pool

    roller rink

    ice skating

    laser tagging

    go carting

    indoor rock climbing

    bowling

    movie/dinner

Call around for prices, some places are actually extremely reasonable
