  1. A Meal.

    Blue

  2. gaggle

  3. While "rafter" is somewhat more lyrical, it is so uncommon that you risk being misunderstood.  Better to stick with the more widely used "flock".

  4. Most people are familiar with the term "flock of pigeons" and even "gaggle of geese," but did you know that a group of turkeys is called a "rafter"?

And baby turkeys are called poults.

  5. A gaggle

  6. Most hunters would say a good Sunday meal.  They are called rafter.  And to let everyone know Turkeys are far from dumb.  I mean they might look pretty stupid when you see them, but try hunting for one.  Any good hunter out there are going to tell you they are a challenge, and to learn how to call them in properly is not an easy task either.  I love to watch the toms fan out. What a neat site.

  7. A gob

  8. My in-laws.

  9. According to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_ani...

    rafter or flock

  10. rafter

  11. A small village's food supply. Or a band of renegades escaping Thanksgiving Dinner.

  12. A whole mess of turkeys!!!  I see many on my way home from work in the morning. It truly amazes me that they can fly.  They are such ungainly birds.  Not too bright, I might add. LOL As I am bee-bopping down the road, lots of times I come across a flock of them and  just nearly miss wiping  them all out!  Or having them go thru my windshield!  Dinner, anyone??

  13. Thanksgiving
