  1. A guitar "Fret" is each space you put your finger on. A skinny bar separates each "fret". The strings as of order -

    E - Thickest - lowest sounding.

    A

    D

    G

    B

    E - Thinnest, highest sounding.

  2. I believe the term is "Guitar Fret", and its where you place your fingers on the neck to make different sounds and notes.

1st string is the low E (it's the thickest and the one on top)

    2nd is the A

    3rd is the D

    4th is the G

    5th is the B

6th is the high E ( it's the thinnest and the one one the bottom)

  3. You mean guitar fret!

A guitar fret is what makes your guitar sound diffrent!

The picture shows the "rectangles" in the guitar's neck..

If you can see the lower it goes the smaller the "rectangles"

become! The lower the fret the higher your guitar pitch will become..

Guitar Strings from thickest to thinest are"

string 6 = low E   (lowest pitch, thickest string, closest to ceiling)

    string 5 = A

    string 4 = D

    string 3 = G

    string 2 = B

string 1 = high E  (highest pitch, thinnest string, closest to ground)

  4. thick to thin: EADGBE

a guitar fret is "bumps" on the neck of the guitar that divides the neck into little squares

  5. A guitar "Fret" is the metal bars going across the neck all the way down. Thickest to thinnest ..  strings are EADGBE. or easier to remember them by an analogy:  Eat A d**n Good Breakfast Everyday.

  6. I think you mean a fret. its the spaces in between the thin strips of metal or plastic, ie where you put your fingers to make a clean note. thickest to thinnest E A D G B E

  7. I find the strings easiest to remember thinest to thickest (Easter Bunnies Get Drunk At Easter)  And if you're learning chords when they tell you to place a finger in the first fret, you will put your finger in between the first two bars on the guitar neck Visualize this as a guitar neck

    That is the first fret
