  1. A HC or heavy-combination truck is either a heavy rigid with a trailer greater than 9 tonnes GVM or a prime mover with a semi-trailer of more than 9 tonnes GVM. The candidate must have held a car license for a least three years and MR of HR license for at least a year.

    A HR or heavy rigid truck must be more than 8 tonnes GVM with more than three axles. It may tow a trailer of not more than 9 tonnes GVM.The candidate must have held a car license for a least two year.
