  2. It's the Ah ha moment that comes often at the climax of the story having been misdirected all the way up until then as in the case of Norman Bates' "Mother". The way the scenes were shot,it doesn't hint at all about what's really going on.We thing we see her in the window.We thing we hear her in her bedroom and we see Norman carrying her downstairs to the basement,right?

  3. i'd say its a moment that is shocking, unpredictable and macabre but has a vein of black humour running through it.
