i read an article about this but my friends think I'm full of c**p can anyone tell me what this is i tied looking it up but came up empty handed it said something about this certain hormone guys produced that makes other guys more attractive to girl than others

Sarah... a pheromone IS a hormone, hence the -mone at the end of the word.

As your first responder noted... it's called pheromone and it's present in both males and females. There have been many studies on this but there is nothing certain about it. There is evidence, however, of brain responses related to sexual arousal when stimulated by pheromones.

Also, Androstenone was the first mammalian pheromone to be identified and it is used in several male products. How about that?

The second is that women are more attracted to men who are a better genetic match to them, which they can tell by smell. They did a study where women would smell different shirts that men had sweat in. The women picked the shirt she thought smelled the best, which turned out to belong to the man who was the best genetic match.
