  1. Full rate is the price hotels like to tell you is their regular rate.

Website's like http://www.cheaperthanhotels.com.au buy bulk rates and get things cheaper. There's a few around like this one.

  2. Full rate or Rack rate is the actual price of the room, the most they can charge and do charge in periods of high demand.

Online prices are discounted, so are most advertised prices. So unless you want a room overlooking sydney harbour on nye on most occasions you don't pay the full rate/

  3. depends on how busy the place is, or how many stars they have. Just go on there website where you wanna saty and check out how much there rooms are

  4. That's the rate that no one with any brains ever pays unless they're absolutely desperate. It's a rate wish list and is the absolute maximum they will ask, but there are so many avenues for getting discounts that you should never have to actually pay that much. Quoting the full rate makes the actual rates look better - a bit like those carpet and rug places where you can always save massive percentages on the retail price.

  5. depending on the stars of the hotel..full rates means the maxium they will charge..

the prices r cheaper online becuz it will attract more money which means more money for the hotel

    x

  6. At a busy time you will pay the full rate sometimes even higher. when they are not so busy they sell off the rooms sometimes at much reduced prices. They give them to internet sites so they can fill the rooms. If you walk in off the street you will more than likely pay the full rate. They want to make their money but would rather fill the vacancies cheaper if need be.
