Your hymen is the thin piece of skin partially covering the opening of your v****a. There's uncommon different kinds of hymens, such as a septate hymen, which occurs when the hymen has two holes instead of one larger hole. The hymen can be stretched with tampon use, sports, horseback riding, among other things; it's a known indicator of virginity because if you haven't broken or stretched your hymen much before your first time, it will stretch or tear after you have s*x. If you break your hymen, you are still a virgin if you've never had s*x.

its a thin layer of film(tissue) thats in your v****a. it breaks when enough pressure is applied. usually during s*x, but other forms such as a finger can break it too. when it breaks, it bleeds just a little, but it doesnt hurt that much
