What is a job for a ten-year-old like a real one like working at a store

I have a 10-year-old neice that is looking for a job like working in a store.

Any suggestions?

  1. ummm.... you have to be 14 and 9 months to work, but currently im 11 and im working as a assistance librarian, i help around the library getting paid $5 an hour, cool hey? try it!


  2. you cant get a job until ur 14, unless u work under the counter but ud need really close family or friends, but its not likely to find one, try making a lemonade stand ;]

  4. you can't really work at a store when you're ten years old..try walking dogs or babysitting your siblings or cousins and get paid for it

    i would tell her that babysitting is an awesome job.

    one of my married friends babysits and she gets tons of money.


  7. usually you have to be sixteen to get a minimum wage job. I highly doubt he can get a job in a store--tell him to babysit and mow lawns.

  9. She would have to volunteer at like a movie store or something.

  10. My advice for her would be to start her own business. She could hire some people to help her, too. She could babysit, and mow, and pull weeds and stuff. Think about it, she could easily make $150 a day. So, make some fliers, put them around the neighborhood..and have people call her about it.

    I have a business like that, and in no time I was making $700-800 a week, but then again, I was commited, I was in a good area, and I just stuck with it. Let her read this and let her decide..
