  1. A Kegel exercise is when you contract and relax your pelvic muscles. Women (mostly) do Kegels to strengthen their muscles before and after childbirth, or to help with incontinence. Some women do Kegels to make their vaginas feel tighter for their partners.

To do a Kegel, try stopping the flow of urine midstream. That muscle contraction is the exercise, and you can repeat it anywhere, anytime. No gym required for Kegels!

  2. It's spelled "Kegel"... and the best explanation/instruction I've seen is at:

    http://sexuality.about.com/od/anatomyres...

A set of ten (squeeze/relax, each ten seconds long) done ten times every other day (muscles respond best to exercise when they get lots of rest too), and in a few weeks to a couple of months, you'll really notice a difference.

Don't forget to do some pushing after each squeeze: Kegels aren't just about tightening and strengthening those muscles - they're about getting voluntary *control* of them.   :-)

  3. Ok, an ex. would be if u pee and then hold ur pee, its when ur contracting ur muscles, just do it a couple a times a day.
