..I'm sorry but I think you mean key fob, I remember this from years ago and its a name I haven't seen mentioned for some time.  We used to have a key fob and a watch fob.  Basically it was a chain with  a small cross bar that fitted into a button hole on a waist coat that held your pocket watch, or a key fob that was a key chain with a leather fob that fitted over a button on your trousers. I hope I'm not leading you astray, but I'm really going into the murky parts of my mind.
