  1. uhhh???

  2. For each round, judges determine the score using the ten-point must system. This means that (usually) the winner of the round gets ten points, and the loser gets nine points. There are exceptions to this rule. For example, when a fighter is knocked down, that fighter loses a point. So if the fighter that was knocked down loses the round the score would be 10 to 8 for that round. If the fighter that was knocked down wins the round (which is rare) the score would be 9 to 9. If a fighter is knocked down twice, the score would normally be 10 to 7 for the round.

  3. ^that is incorrect, after 1 knockdown, there are no additional points taken away for further knockdowns (except tkd). the only time it would be 10-7 is if the fighter to get knocked down, gets a warning and continues with ilegal moves.

  4. A knockdown is where any part of a boxer (apart from the feet) touches the floor as a result of receiving a punch. If the knockdown is legitimate, the referee will start the ten count as soon as the opponent is in a neutral corner, and the person knocked down has to get up before the referee reaches "ten". Rounds are scored on what is called a "10 point must", whereby the winner of a round must be given a ten. If there are no knockdown in a round, the loser of the round will get 9 points. If someone is knocked down, the round will be scord 10-8 in favour of the person who scored the knockdown. If he is knocked down twice, the round is scored 10-7, and so on.

  5. NO POINT BUT PLENTY OF MONEY

  6. No, the opponent must go back to his corner, whilst the one that is knocked down, must take a count.  He must then remonstrate to the refere that he is ok to continue.
