  1. Go to http://www.cnn.com/ or http://www.msnbc.com/ and click on the "space and technology" link. They have tons of articles.

  2. http://www.sciencedaily.com/

  3. 1-Title: Radio observations of the massive stellar cluster Westerlund 1

Authors: Sean M. Dougherty (NRC HIA, Canada), J. Simon Clark (Open University, UK)

2-Title: A near-infrared/optical/X-ray survey in the centre of sigma Orionis

    Authors: José A. Caballero

    http://www.arxiv.org/list/astro-ph/recen...

in the source bar there are other links,

  4. you might look for an article about a new planet, that is thought to be a bit bigger than the earth, and is thought to be at the same temperature as earth.  several of your classmates will likely have found it also.

btw, if you're looking for current, you might include 2007 in your search criteria.  that should eliminate anything from last year or before.

that is, if you were into doing your own work.

  5. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/18523377/

This is a very interesting article about a new type of supernova in a nearby galaxy and the fact that a very similar "bomb" is ticking away in our own galaxy.
