  1. The first thing that bothers me about this question is the

"if you help me with this i will send you every single ellusionist trick" part.

I won't go into completely why, but for various reasons that SHOULD be apparent.

I would say that if this guy is helping you get a sponsor, I would have to assume that you are already fairly skilled with either shows or whatever else you normally do. That would include routine creation, showmanship, and the like. For someone else to virtually create a flowing routine of effects wouldn't really be your work, nor a show of your skill as a magician or creator.

I would say you need to find your own effects and so on that you particularly like, and appeal to you individually, not what anyone else is good or cool. Then, I would assume you would have time before this show (a good couple or weeks or MORE) to abtain these effects, props, ect...and then practice them enough to have them down by showtime.

IF it's when the next week or so, you are not rightly prepared and shouldn't have taken the job. However if nothing else, use what you already know, even close up stuff can be altered a bit to show for a bigger audience. You CAN do it, but asking for all the routine or flowing tricks to do on here, and rewarding with illegal downloading and further spread of secrets is NOT the way.

  2. sawing a lady in half

    sword thru neck

    zig zag lady

    guillotine

  3. I anticipate that you are looking for a different kind of response, but you really don't give enough information about yourself and your technical and theatrical abilities for anyone to make a specific recommendation.

Selection of magic effects should be based on the type of performance you are giving (e.g. dramatic, comic, sales, etc.) and your or your character's personality.

I would recommend that you pick up the book "Magic an Showmanship" by Henning Nelms. He gives a detailed discussion of how to build an act.
